About Me

Running an ad agency is my bread and butter, while photography is the love of my life. It has brought me much happiness together with laurels in major national and international contests such as the Contessa Hill Holiday Contest, Canon Asia-Pacific Contest, Sports Authority of India Salon of Sports Photography among others.

While photography has been my constant travel companion on the journey called life, wedding photography has taken me around the world. I landed my first wedding assignment in London in 2001, and this was followed by innumerable others, mainly in the UK and the USA. In between, I took time off to brush up my skills, starting with a course in portraiture (London, 2007) conducted by Charles Green, arguably the world’s leading portrait photographer. That same year, I attended a course in video filming and editing at the International Centre for Photography (ICP) in Manhattan, New York, conducted by renowned film-maker Lauren Petty. The following year, I was hand-picked by master photo-journalist Raghu Rai to attend a workshop  conducted by him in Chandigarh. I have established a friendly working relationship with top wedding photographers in the UK and USA.

I am an alumnus of St. John’s High School Chandigarh, and Panjab University’s Department of English and Department of Mass Communication. A keen golfer, I keep fit with yoga, brisk walks and meditation.  I am passionate about the conservation of birds, and recently held an exhibition of photographs taken from a window of my house to highlight the beauty birds add to our daily lives.
